I have an older laptop running Win 98SE that I thought would be kind of cool to see if it would even work wireless. I had already bought a TRENDnet wireless router a couple of years earlier that has worked perfectly for me with my desktop computer in wired mode, so I thought for such a low price I'd take a chance on the wireless card. I also figured I could just return it if it didn't end up working out.Well, I'm happy to report that it installed with no problems and has worked perfectly in my old laptop ever since. I am also very impressed with the well-written and helpful quick installation guides that came with both the card and the router, and had no problems when installing the utility and driver software that came with either one. My brother had recommended I stick with a better known brand back when I bought the router, but the TRENDnet prices were so much better that I decided to give them a shot. Based on my experience with them so far, I'm very happy that I did!
