But really the problem here is not this product but the controller which is awkward with its halo ring. This product helps to add a bit of a gun feel to it but still does quite do it as you are still not able to hold a gun correctly since you cannot wrap your non dominant hand around the gun because the halo ring gets in the way.The design of this gun attachment is about as good as it can get for these style controllers. But they do not fit over my Aftermarket protective covers. So to use them I have to take my covers off which sort of counter intuitive if you are trying to protect your investment.The gun attachments feel nice but they don’t have too much weight to them. As mentioned, you can glue some weight to the inside of the attachment to give you more of a true feel and weight to improve the quality of your gaming experience.I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Hope this information was helpful. [3 Stars]This product is made in China.Used for VR, this helps heighten your experience w/in your games.The product is cute looking, but all in all, it's a toy. It feels nothing like a real handgun at all in your hand when you're playing games in VR, it just kind of feels like your quest controllers are a little chunkier. The grip is almost identical to the quest's, you don't feel the ridges as if it was a pistol because they're too small in person. The barrels of the guns are made of a completely hollow plastic, and it adds virtually no weight to the controllers. I would have liked it if they had added some real heft into the pistols, so it can feel real. You can unscrew them and easily glue weights like coins inside though, but you shouldn't have to do this, it should come shipped to you hefty in the first place.But I must say, I love the design of the gun, the white color matches the headset and controllers nicely, and it looks like it could pass as a real, official product of Oculus. It feels cool every now and then to have trigger discipline in games and feel the trigger guard. I liked playing this on Half-Life Alyx, equipping the pistol on the dominant hand and having an empty hand on the other controller.In my opinion, I believe this is the perfect product for children or young teens. I wouldn't buy this again and I wouldn't buy it for an adult. But for an older audience, I would recommend getting a hold of one of those Etsy products, the 3D-printed ones. Although it's pricier, it's worth the cost if your goal here is to simulate holding a gun, because you won't accomplish that with this.like I said in my title not all your games are shooting ones, so you have to take them off and on depending on the game your playing and it's a hassle to take them off and more of one to put them on, but if you like the looks then go for it.Instead of having an expensive VR gunstock that has comes with its own set of issues, this controller REALLY helps steady my hands with 2 handed weapons. I either rest the end of the barrel on my palm below the thumb or grab the end of the barrel from the bottom, depending on the gun I’m using, and my guns stop wobbling like crazy.In games where you use pistols like Pistolwhip, Arizona Sunshine, or Shooting Arena, it helps the game feel more immersive and the bulk and weight feel like they help steady my aim slightly.I am very pleased with these gun attachments for my oculus two controllers. They stay on very well and they give just enough weight to make it seem like you were actually holding a real gun which helps a lot when you’re trying to shoot zombies.I bought these as a gift for my son before I ever tried playing on the Oculus. They are not necessary to play any of the games as you don't actually see them while playing the games, but he is happy with them.Taking on and off kind of sucks, and is hard to do. But it feels cool.It does the job, comfortable but very light. Easy mod I did is to glue a few penny inside the little piece that goes over the controller. Now it feels better!The Eisman store is a dodgy seller (at least in Amazon Australia)- they send out the wrong product and demand you pay return postage in order to return it (while dragging out communications)- I ended up needed Amazon to step in and help. The product is ok but won’t allow a modified hand strap (to keep it in your hand) to be attached with it, takes quite a while to attach and reattach (especially with an added hand strap), and isn’t weighted (so it doesn’t feel or act any different to a normal Quest 2 controller inside VR). Looks nice though.Gun mod kit fits very well and the finish is decent. The parts fit snuggly and hold well which is good because you don't want to fling the parts at someone while swinging them around. I found the feel good but the weight a bit light. Also the grip size does increase good for my big hands bit a person with smaller hands may find them too big.Added BBs to the gun for weight there is a hole in the bottom of the barrel to pour them into. I wanted something reversible to see of weight was a good thing they certainly feel like a real gun in game but I could see your arms getting tired faster. Not crazy heavier but enough that you can feel it. It does make the gun in game seem a lot more authentic. Does not work in Gun Club because you have to reload the gun and hard as it is to believe having a gun in both hands makes reloading a real problem so another Hollywood myth uncovered. ?Oh well it does add to the realism quite a bit.Gun and controller 238gGun and controller and BBs 328gSo 100g difference but you can feel it.Also I sound like I am playing the Maracas ? So may try wax pellets but that would be very hard to undue. Happy with the purchase but the finish is a bit cheap that is why 4 out of 5 but I would buy them again.A real gun weighs in at 1000 g (2.2 lbs) so props to John Wick for welding two all day long. He must have massive guns. ?Pro, almost like a real gun when holding it. The only problem is, it's not easy to snap on and off at will. My daughter and i are too impatient and dont have time to struggle with putting it together and taking it apart, depending what we play. I wish they were simple snap on snap off. So not practical for us, but might be practical for youIf you care more about elevating the game experience that’s ok, but if you like to take care of your equipment, maybe this is not the best option!I usually take a good care of electronic items, this VR headset has been with me for the last 3 years and it’s like new, until i got these accessories.They fit perfectly and it helps a bit the experience in a shooter game, but when you remove them you can see how it damages the control grip.It’s a damage that can change the condition from Excellent to Fair… now that I have them it’s ok but I regret getting this item.
