Joy-Cons pair to Your device Check the OS verion Make sure your iPhone has the latest iOS version (at least iOS 16) and is compatible with Joy-Cons. For iPads, ensure they have been updated to at least iPadOS 16. Joy-Con in pairing mode To put the Joy-Con in pairing mode, press and hold the black pairing button in the middle until the green indicator light starts moving back and forth. Setting in Your Phone On your iPhone or iPad, go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth". Scroll down to find your Joy-Con under "Other Devices." Depending on the Joy-Con you are pairing, it will be listed as either "Joy-Con (L)" or "Joy-Con (R)." Tap on the corresponding Joy-Con option to start the pairing process. If you have another Joy-Con to pair, repeat this step. It’s the only thing like it.I was looking for a good solution for a gamepad to hold an 8 inch tablet. I’m glad I was patient. I have a Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 (2023).About the “grip”- It’s sturdy plastic - or at least rigid.- The springs are snug and hold the device well.- There’s a silicone/rubber pad, loose in the bottom of the box, for where the back of your device meets this “grip.” Make sure you find this in the box and at least keep the pad. I needed it for my device.- The little acrylic, light passthrough from the joycons (the ones to let you know which player you are) are a little rattle-y when shaken but, I don’t think it’s likely to be noticed after you’ve picked up the device to play.- It has a simple and good design for audio passthrough on the sides but, don’t expect to get a connection through it. Maybe a small headphone cord would fit but, it would be right in the way of the controls anyway.- The joycons attach easily and firmly and there is no wiggle.Overall, it gets five stars for being the only thing I’ve seen like it and managing to pull it off successfully. That’s my opinion. Hope this helps someone!
