I bought my first pair of these a few months ago, and I really felt as if they were ok, but nothing to write home about, having to EQ the Heck out of them for decent sound;....BUT WAIT!!!...I just ordered a new pair, thinking that I would change out the drivers to the Hyperx Cloud Core II, and upon plugging these puppies in, the sound is...Pretty Darn Good!!!! - I don't know what they have done differently back at their HQ, but it is a winner; the bass is dominant, this is a gamers' phone, after all, but a little adjustment on your handy 5-band equaliser will do the trick nicely...the rest of the audio spectrum is quite good without a ton of EQ; I'm wearing them as we speak, listening to Steeley Dan's Greatest Hits (Dude!), and they are more than up to the task of proper reproduction.
